As I mentioned in my Bangkok trip preparation (1), I was going to be in Bangkok for 3 nights and Phuket for 2 nights!
One of those nights was near the airport, and the other two nights were at the hotel I'm talking about here.

I was going to Bangkok to tour and Phuket for a rest!
So I was looking for value for money and accessibility rather than overpriced hotels.
The result!!!
I booked a room at Ascott Thonglor Bangkok, located in Sukhumvit.
[ Why I booked this hotel despite the lack of reviews ]
- Newly built and clean ( Opened in July 2022 )
- Right in front of Tichuka Rooftop Bar
- 5 min. walk from BTS Tonglor Station
- Free shuttle and tuk tuk available
- Many hotplaces nearby
- Best value for money 5 stars Hotels
Best of all, it's a 5-minute walk from Tonglo Station and right in front of Tichuka Rooftop.
Prices are around $110 per night ( for a deluxe room in mid-Sep )
The view is a city view, and I don't use the hotel pool much, but according to other reviews.
that the pool is L-shaped, so it's great for swimming!
I will post a detailed review of Ascot Thonglor Bangkok Hotel after my visit!
